Why do I press for progress?
Besides for the foundational and obvious reasons, there is another very important reason ... Katy, my 18-year-old daughter.
I believe that pressing for progress in gender equality is morally the right thing to do, it is a critical part of our Diversity & Inclusion efforts, and it will help ensure Caterpillar attracts the best talent for our future.
While I could go on and on about logical reasons for diversity, the reason why I press for progress and support this important cause of International Women’s Day is so that my daughter (and all women) knows that the opportunities for her and her future are endless, and that she is entitled to every opportunity that my son has.
