One of these impressive women is the company's Marketing Manager for Radiology Systems, Franziska Altenbeck, who believes strongly in embracing equity in healthcare and beyond.

A mother and a mentor, Franziska advocates for generation equality through her career.

Driving equitable access to healthcare

Franziska envisions that all people have equitable access to healthcare. She also she wants to contribute to generations living responsibly so that they do not burden subsequent generations with unbearable burdens, such as environmental damage.

In her daily marketing job, Franziska has taken over the topic of sustainable radiology.

Questioning gender stereotypes and prejudices

To help young girls and colleagues to stand up for their own needs in a more self-confident way, Franziska is also active in the women's network at Siemens Healthineers.

Franziska has made it her mission to encourage others to question gender stereotypes and to be aware of discrimination and prejudices. This is also important for the education of her own daughter. She believes that it is harder to break down outdated role models or to change a self-image if children are shaped too early.

Reinforcing the need for authenticity and belonging, Franziska says."We can only do good work if we come to the office as we are."

Ongoing learning

To further understand how different political and economic systems work, Franziska is currently studying health economics at the London School of Economics.
