Colt Technology Services receives high rating for sustainability

Colt Technology Services is a sustainability-focused employer, and its General Counsel, Caroline Griffin Pain, discusses how Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) is a foundation for the values that Colt lives by. She discusses how Colt has been awarded a Platinum rating from EcoVadis, for the second consecutive year in recognition of the company's outstanding ESG performance.

Achieving the EcoVadis Platinum rating for the second year in a row recognises this mission and spotlights the progress we’re making. There’s still much to do, but this gives us a moment to reflect on how far we’ve come,” commented Caroline [pictured below].

Making the world a better place

The prestigious Platinum rating – awarded to just 1 percent of global companies and the highest possible EcoVadis rating – recognizes Colt Technology Services' continuing commitment to its ambitious ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) targets.

Benchmarking sustainability performance

This year’s ranking positions Colt Technology Services in the 99th centile, with an overall score of 79 out of 100, an increase from 75 in 2022. This score is based on ratings for action and commitment in environment, labor and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. Specifically in sustainable procurement, the score has risen ten points following a successful ongoing program to build sustainability into critical business processes: for example, more than 70 percent of Colt suppliers are engaged on ESG topics.
