Meet Colt Senior Lawyer, Carolina Morales.
Here, Carolina discusses how music is integral to her, from growing up in Colombia to her career with Colt where she is based in Paris, France.
Expressing herself through music
Music is essential to Carolina. Every day, she wakes up listening to music and it's the last thing she does at night.
"It’s a way to express myself and channel my energy – it’s an organic expression of how I feel. When I was growing up, two or three of my friends at school loved to sing, and I remember being in the car with them, singing like we were in a rock band," says Carolina.
A lifelong passion for music
Carolina shares that her passion for music may be a Colombian thing, as when she was young, they used to play music on the buses.
"I used to take the bus to university for an hour and a half, and there was this loud salsa music playing the whole way. Perhaps I was meant to be a musician, but somehow I ended up as a lawyer. It’s never too late, who knows? Maybe I’ll find time to join a band," says Carolina.
