Entain marks IWD and Accelerates Action for gender equality

International Women’s Day (IWD) provides an important opportunity to shine a light on the impressive achievements of women.

"On 8 March, the world celebrated International Women’s Day, shining a light on the incredible achievements of women. At Entain, we celebrate the year-round efforts of our brilliant team, every day. This year’s theme, Accelerate Action for gender equality, is one we’re fully on board with," said Entain.

Making great progress

Last year Entain's incredible Women@Entain network went from strength to strength and the company's women’s engagement scores in its Your Voice Survey rose to 79 per cent.

Entain partnered with Global Gaming Women to drive industry-wide change, launched a UK Women in Leadership Apprenticeship programme and listening sessions with the Board, and ranked sixth in the FTSE100 for women in leadership progress.

"It’s good progress but there’s more to do in creating positive change. Our people are Accelerating Action too – pledging how they’re going to make a difference," said Entain.

Entain kicked off its IWD celebrations with a trip to Manila where their colleagues laced up, showed up, and clocked up the miles at the FCC Women’s Run PH 2025. The Filipina CEO Circle, dedicated to empowering Filipina business leaders, partners with Women's Run PH to inspire women through running and celebrate their collective strength. Entain's Women@Entain Manila team brought the energy - proving once again that when Entain's people come together, amazing things happen.
