Top employer Entain is a team of leaders, doers and thinkers. People join Entain to have more than a job; they join the company to have a career where they help shape what Entain does and how it does it.
Entain supports a culture where everyone feels safe, heard, and celebrated. A place where being accepted for who people are is a given. Entain's Employee Resource Groups are a huge part of creating a globally inclusive support system for its people. One such group is Entain's Women@Entain network, a brilliant community providing important support and inspiration across the company.
During consultative feedback processes, members of Entain's Women@Entain network identified 'Women’s Health' as an important topic they would like to see a dedicated focus upon. As such, the group has been delivering an engaging and empowering series exploring a range of health-related topics. The series aligns with the Group’s value of 'Do What’s Right' as the company has listened to its colleagues regarding their needs and interests and has subsequently been providing a highly requested initiative.
The MindBodyHER Women@Entain Health Series saw an engaging and empowering session delivered that focused on women’s nutrition and hormones. The topic had been identified from results from a poll across the Women@Entain network, and featured expert guest speaker, Dr Linia Patel [pictured below], who spoke about how women's nutrition is linked to hormones throughout both reproductive and menopause phases, followed by a rigorous Q&A section.

Addressing a range of women’s health topics, Dr Patel is a distinguished dietitian and sports nutritionist. She is a trusted authority in translating complex nutritional science into practical, everyday advice. Her expertise spans a wide range of topics, but she is perhaps best known for her role as an expert presenter on the BBC’s ‘Food: Truth or Scare’ where she demystifies nutritional science for a broad audience, helping people make informed choices about their diets and health.
In closing the well-attended session, a Women@Entain network member said: "I’m sure we could sit and discuss this all day. What a great session. Thank you so much Linia for sharing your wisdom with us...we have all learnt something today that we can take into 2026 with us."
Feedback was very positive with further members of network providing comments like:
- "Such a great episode, I really enjoyed the way she backed everything with evidence and science."
- "This was so incredibly useful to me...Invaluable advice and content, especially useful as it reiterated what works for one person doesn't work for everyone and was a reminder to try and adapt to yourself rather than comparing to others. Can't wait for the next session."
- "Thank you, this was so interesting and really useful. I am following her on Instagram and have ordered her book already."
- "It was a fabulous session. Dr Patel was extremely engaging. Thanks so much for these, can't wait for the next one!"
- "Such a great session, thank you."
