Working at a company where colleagues feel valued, supported, and recognised can be truly rewarding.

Entain is building on a culture of belonging, community and trust, in an environment where everyone is valued and confident to be their true self.

One initiative that drives inclusion is Entain's employee networks. These networks create real connections, share unique support and amplify voices within different communities to make inclusion part of Entain's everyday culture.

Empowering Black professionals at Entain

Black Professionals at Entain is a global employee network of trailblazers that celebrates and empowers the company's Black professionals and allies. It provides inspiration and opportunities, so network members are better understood and experience equality in action.

Each year, Entain and the network celebrate Black heritage and culture through global and local events during Black History Month, amplifying stories and recognising achievements that continue to shape the world, and the workplace.

Opening doors and creating opportunities

Entain hosted a Black History Month panel that saw Shemeleah Berry, Senior People Partner and Chair of Black Professionals @ Entain, discuss how the network supports colleagues as they transition from university to their careers, while celebrating the unsung heroes who create opportunities and open doors for others.

"The Black Professionals Network...brings together like-minded individuals from the black community. There’s a sense of belonging. There’s a sense of encouragement," explained Shemeleah.

Shemeleah suggested the network has made a "remarkable different" by teaching people about Black history and Black culture.

Shemeleah praised Entain's internship and graduate programme that, in partnership with the 10,000 Interns Foundation, opens doors for Black students and graduates - creating opportunities, building experience and helping the next generation of talent rise.

“The reason why I’m most proud of that is it’s created opportunities," said Shemeleah. "The door was opened for them to show their capability.”

From cultural celebrations to career opportunities, Entain is creating an environment where Black professionals can thrive – driving representation, recognition and progress in every area of the business.
