Colt Technology Services works hard to create a culture in which everyone is welcome.

Celebrated for its inclusive culture, Colt won two prestigious DIVA Awards. These sought-after awards acknowledge individuals, organisations, and brands that support the LGBTQIA community across various fields including business, sport, media, and politics.

Colt's employee network Pride Matters won LGBTQIA Network of the Year, while Colt's Head of Diversity & Inclusion, Rachel Collins, secured Highly Commended in the Head of Diversity category.

Colt is an inclusive place for all

Pride Matters is Colt's LGBTQ+ and Allies network and aims to make Colt a more inclusive place for all. Formed in 2019, the team has grown globally and has helped drive the message that Colt is inclusive, no matter how you identify.

Since its launch, the network has helped with policy changes across the business, including the Global Parental Leave policy. By replacing previous traditional maternity and paternity leave with primary and secondary caregiver leave, it recognises same sex parents and families.

Colt also launched a transition at work policy to support employees who identify as trans to take the time out of work they need, and to support them on their journey as an employee of Colt.

Pride Matters Network collaborated with Colt's Diversity, Equity & Inclusion team to produce an engaging e-learning, Becoming an LGBTQ+ Ally, which has been shared with all employees. The group supplements this learning with insightful webinars and events throughout the year.

Celebrating LGBTQ+ community

Headline sponsored by London Stock Exchange Group, the DIVA Awards took in London, UK, as part of Lesbian Visibility Week. The Awards were celebrated by game changing LGBTQIA women and non-binary people, including celebrity figures like Dame Kelly Holmes, Adolescence star Faye Marsay, and House Of The Dragon icon, Abigail Thorn.

Nancy Kelley, Executive Director, DIVA Charitable Trust, said: “The DIVA Awards is a much needed opportunity to pause and truly celebrate the incredible talent and achievements of LGBTQIA+ women, non-binary people and our allies. In a world where LGBTQIA+ women and non-binary people are not always heard, and at at a time when LGBTQIA+ rights feel quite fragile, these brilliant award winners bring us joy and give us hope for a better world, where all LGBTQIA+ people live our lives to the fullest.”
