Looking to make your next career move to a company that is very socially responsible?
For Colt Technology Services, sustainability is not just about reducing its environmental footprint. It is also about the positive impact the company can have on people and communities. Social responsibility is embedded into the very way Colt does business, from empowering its people to supporting meaningful causes across the world.
Colt's Global Social Impact Strategy focuses on the promotion of digital inclusion and STEM education, aligning with its purpose, values and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Colt focuses on supporting the development of digital skills and STEM education for disadvantaged children and youth, and further underrepresented groups.
"Creating a better future takes more than good intentions - it takes action. From digital inclusion and STEM education to climate action and DEI, we're proud of the meaningful impact we made in 2024, including €112,000 raised in our Charity Bike Ride and 1,000+ volunteer days," says Colt.

Driving digital inclusion
One of Colt's key partnerships has been with London-based charity Ignite Hubs who provide accessible and inclusive STEM education to young people, including those from disadvantaged backgrounds.
"Ignite Hubs have experienced a year of significant growth and development, and we played a crucial role in helping to drive its initiatives forward. The charity’s reach expanded substantially, growing from 130 students in 2023 to 200 students by the end of 2024. Ignite Hubs were also able to make strategic investments in their infrastructure, including the development of an Online Learning Platform focused on coding and technology skills," says Colt.
A culture of contribution

As outlined in Colt's new Sustainability Report for 2024, Colt's CSR activities are driven by one simple belief: that businesses thrive when their people do. Colt's CSR and Social Impact Strategy encourages Colties to engage with their communities and resulted in over 1,000 days volunteered in 2024, a 19.2% increase on 2023.
"Colties gave their time, energy and expertise to causes that matter most to them. Activities ranged from restoring green habitats in India and the UK to a beach clean-up in Portugal and donating monitors to a Ukrainian refugee centre charity shop in Denmark," continues Colt.
A very successful CSR initiative for Colt in 2024 was the return of its Colt Charity Bike Ride, which saw 140 Colties cycle from Brussels to Düsseldorf. They raised over €112,000 for 22 charities which was boosted by €222,982 in matched funding.
In 2024, Colt also relaunched Sustainability Week. It gave employees the chance to explore environmental and social challenges through hands-on activities and expert-led events. This engagement continued with Colt's Pledge Wall, where Colties around the world filmed and uploaded short videos in which they shared the changes they had already made, or pledged to make, in their day-to-day lives to positively impact the environment. The five countries with the highest number of pledges (proportional to headcount) each received a donation for a local charity aligned with Colt's ESG goals, funding everything from solar panels at schools in India to supporting families affected by floods in Spain.
Partnering with purpose
Colt's long-term partnerships are designed to create lasting change. For example, Colt has a three-year partnership with The Arctic Arts Project, a non-profit dedicated to raising awareness of climate change through emotive, visual storytelling. As a Polar Partner, Colt has helped fund their expeditions which document the impact of climate change in some of the most affected areas of the globe.
Colt has also teamed up with a range of NGOs to tackle specific local issues. This ranges from river clean ups in Vienna to promoting digital inclusion through upskilling initiatives across numerous locations.
Empowering people, everywhere

CSR at Colt isn’t just about what the company does externally. It’s about how Colties show up for each other every day. In 2024, Colt doubled down on diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI), launching a refreshed Inclusive Leadership Programme and earned recognition from the Inclusive Employers Standard.
"Our people are our greatest asset, and creating a workplace where everyone feels they belong is core to who we are," says Colt.
