Commercial Graduate – Account Management

Working in Colt's Strategic Alliances or its Sales teams, graduates are responsible for understanding Colt customers and building great relationships with them. Graduates liaise with internal and external stakeholders in executing Colt's regional strategy to drive profitable growth across accounts, including identifying new opportunities and expanding its customer base.

Commercial Graduate – Customer Success

Working in Colt's Sales, Marketing & Customer Relationship Management function, graduates are responsible for understanding Colt customers and building great relationships with them. Graduates use their knowledge of Colt products to identify areas of growth, and collect and analyse data to make sure they're proposing the best possible solutions for each of Colt's customers.

Commercial Graduate – Financial & Professional Services

Working in Colt's Enterprise Sales function, graduates are responsible for identifying and closing deals with new customers within the Financial and Professional Services sector. Graduates help to implement effective sales strategies for new sales and cross-sell opportunities of Colt's services and solutions, whilst developing and nurturing relationships to drive new business and increase total customer spend.

Commercial Graduate – Proposals

Working in Colt's Bid Management team, graduates are responsible for supporting Colt's Senior Bid Managers with customer proposal developments, whilst learning to develop the skills you need to lead proposals independently. Graduates will be working with teams throughout the business to deliver these proposals, and will quickly expand their knowledge of how Colt operates.

Commercial Graduate – Business Development

Working in Colt's Sales team, graduates are responsible for assisting with prospecting activities, including database management, market research, and contact validation using digital tools, social media and AI. Graduates communicate directly with new potential customers, capturing key insights, summarising discussions, and maintaining a record of historical interactions.

Cyber Security Graduate

Working in Colt's Enterprise Product & Solutions function, graduates are responsible for supporting Colt's Sales team with enterprise solutions based on connectivity, cloud and communications. Graduates become a subject matter expert on Colt's cybersecurity products and services, offering insights and guidance to clients.

Human Resources Graduate

Working in Colt's People & Culture function, graduates are integral in providing high quality HR support to ensure successful delivery of Colt's strategic plan. Graduates work closely with relevant teams to ensure its employees feel supported in their work, and ensuring that standardises HR processes are effectively and accurately implemented in a consistent and timely manner.

Sales Engineer Graduate

Working in Colt's Enterprise Sales team, gradates are responsible for working with Colt's customers to understand their business needs and requirements, and how Colt's products and services can help them excel. Graduates work closely with Colt's Sales team to recommend the most appropriate solutions, whilst also building and maintaining relationships with Colt customers.

Project Management Graduate

Working in Colt's Digital & Information team, graduates play a key role in managing large-scale transformation projects which help make all Colt's teams more effective and efficient, ensuring that all key project documentation is developed, maintained and stored as per guidelines. Graduates are responsible for managing financial and project progress forecasting, maintaining and keeping track of SOW resources, and producing progress reports.

Colt’s early careers induction week is all about setting the groundwork for an exciting career ahead. The week starts by introducing new hires to the company, exploring its different functions and, showing how all the teams work together to support the customer life cycle and provide the best solution. It’s a chance for graduates to see how they fit into the bigger picture, connect with senior leaders, experts, and peers, and build strong relationships.

"For many, it is their first experience working in a global company, that's why we dive into key topics from day one covering professionalism, personal branding, how to navigate a global workplace, and embracing Colt's culture and values through various team building activities and professional sessions. Our goal is to help them start building a strong professional identity and business acumen right from the beginning," explains Colt.
