As a company dedicated to supporting women's health, Theramex has marked International Women's Day via a range of impactful activity. In addition to launching their STEMbySTEM Campaign, the company is an official Supporter of International Women's Day (IWD).
International Women’s Day is an important date on Theramex's calendar as the company honours the social, economic, culture, political, scientific, and further achievements of women globally. The company knows that there are many challenges to overcome for a fairer and equitable world and works to achieve this every day.
Additionally, Theramex participated in a media production content series supporting the IWD #BreakTheBias campaign. The series aims to bring to life the work being done by businesses, big and small, across multiple sectors and geographies, that are seeking to make a difference.
Recognising the progress being made by leading businesses and organisations to achieve gender equality, the series explores how Theramex is dedicated to supporting women's health and is committed to empowering women in everything they do.
This content series features some of Theramex's senior women in leadership, including: Tina Backhouse, UK General Manager, Anjuna Kalsi, Chief Human Resources Officer, and Camilla Harder Hartvig, Chief Commercial Officer.
"What we're really interested in is helping all women, and when whether that's a woman who has to get up at 5am and run a FTSE company, or has to get up at 5am and go out and do a cleaning job before she gets her kids to school. Both those types of women should have equal access to the hormones that they have lost. And that is our ultimate belief at Theramex, and that's what we're working with," explains Tina.
"We work with people like the Department of Health, with the British Menopause Society, to identify gaps, what they are looking for, what they need for women, and what would make a difference to women's lives. And then we actively go out and look for those products," Tina adds.
