Supporting pipelining and hiring needs
In her role at WTW, Melody partners with key business stakeholders to support pipelining and hiring needs, while enhancing collaboration and inclusivity by embedding WTW’s principles of inclusion and diversity into every aspect of the recruiting process.
Prior to her role at WTW, Melody did Healthcare Recruiting at LiquidAgents Healthcare. Melody is passionate about campus recruiting because it gives her the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of future leaders.
"Over the past two years, I led a transformative initiative to reduce the number of offers reneged by adopting a New Hire Engagement Strategy. Based on feedback my team and I received from candidates, combined with my own experience transitioning from college to corporate, we determined the best plan of action was simple – provide support. By implementing pre-employment networking opportunities, leveraging the insights and advice from WTW Early Careers Alumni, and offering 1:1 recruiter connection time, we significantly improved outcomes. This initiative resulted in fewer reneges, two years running, and substantial positive feedback from our new hires," explained Melody.
