What does a day in your life at Capgemini look like?

"There is never a dull moment. I enjoy working around the globe with great teams in the US, the Netherlands, Belgium, and India and being a trusted and strategic partner for our customers and helping them achieve and accelerate their ambitions. This can be anything from creating a strategic (technology) roadmap based on their business objectives, towards modernizing their retail core systems to enable international expansion and other business models, towards transforming their finance function globally, towards helping to win their clients hearts in the market. Working together with alliance partners and with great account and delivery teams across different regions is par for the course."

How are you working towards the future you want?

"It’s a combination of challenging myself and staying out of my comfort zone with several sponsors and coaches who have helped me along the journey. I have a life-long learning mentality and try to learn as much as possible. Sometimes when you’re stuck, dare to ask for feedback and coaching and remain curious to keep learning about yourself. I also learned to lead without boundaries and lead without borders, so never think in terms of your limitations only your possibilities."

What advice would you give to someone joining Capgemini?

"Take the time to network. It helps do build different relationships and look across the “border“. Try to stay connected across the different departments and get connected globally. There are many career opportunities, make sure your voice is heard, nobody can guess what your aspirations/ambitions are, so make it know and start the dialogue."
