Alanna Strohecker is AECOM's Vice President and Global Market Sector Leader of Goods Movement. This means in her role, Alanna leads global business development and strategy associated with the Goods Movement Market Sector (freight rail, ports, bulk handling projects, trucking and distribution) - and also manages a talented team of AECOM professionals globally to provide infrastructure design to move goods and the economy. Additionally, Alanna is highly committed to improving and innovating the freight rail industry

"As a female engineer in the railroad industry, I'm a minority in my field. So being a great role model for my children and other women in my field is very important to me," commented Alanna on a previous occasion in an interview with the Huffington Post.
