As a graduate at Diageo, you’ll help build iconic brands consumers love, such as Guinness, Baileys, and Johnnie Walker. Aim high and you’ll be supported to explore, learn and grow, whilst collaborating with passionate people from all corners of the world.
Diageo's graduate schemes last for 1-3 years and are available across its regions: Europe, North America, Africa, Latin America and Caribbean, and Asia Pacific. Depending on the programme, you may:
- Stay in one location for the duration of the programme
- Have the opportunity to do part of your programme in a different country within your region
The locations vary between schemes and are different from year to year.

Diageo wants your ideas to improve its processes and help shape its future. You could be looking at ways to drive sustainability in all they do, helping develop more cost-effective bottling techniques or creating innovative new packaging methods.
Gain an international perspective
During your three years with Diageo you'll grow your expertise in a number of areas. These could include how Diageo innovates and grows its people, brands and the environment, how they make their products and the manufacturing process, how they bring together the materials and ingredients for the production of their products, plus how they ensure they get out in the market for customers to buy. And you'll get an international perspective.
The products Diageo supply and the challenges they face vary from country to country, so it's important that you understand how Diageo operates as an international company. They'll help you build a diverse global network and give you the opportunity to join an international organisation.

What to expect
Working for a company of Diageo's size brings with it an enormous diversity of people and opportunities. They'll introduce you to a senior mentor, an international and/or local buddy, and a global network so you can experience different cultures and make new friends and professional connections.
You’ll also have the opportunity to take part in formal training designed to develop your personal and professional skills. Through virtual connect sessions, you’ll join a number of senior leaders and peers around the world to share ideas and thoughts on Diageo's business.
Plus, if you want it, there may even be an opportunity to live and work abroad and take part in projects that make a difference to local communities.
