Theramex is dedicated to championing women in its services, offerings and workplace - and beyond.
Theramex Global Franchise Head for Osteoporosis & Global Commercial Excellence, Shireen Bate, is preparing for the annual London to Brighton Cycle, riding for a cause close to the company's hearts.
Raising awareness for Woman's Trust
By pedalling from the vibrant streets of London to the sunny shores of Brighton, Theramex aims to raise awareness and vital funds for Woman's Trust, Theramex's corporate charity of the year.
"This incredible charity provides essential services, support, and counselling to survivors of domestic abuse, helping them rebuild their lives with strength and resilience," said Theramex. "Together, we can create a brighter future, one where all women feel safe, supported, and empowered. Help us make a meaningful impact on the lives of countless women in need by visiting Woman's Trust and learning about the ways you can support."
Providing education to prevent domestic violence
Speaking ahead of the event, Shireen said: "I'm really looking forward to this. Woman's Trust is a great charity which focuses on providing education and resources to women to prevent domestic violence. I think it's a great partnership given that we also focus on providing education to women so that they can make better-informed decisions about their health. I'm looking forward to joining about seven or eight more riders this year to do the trek from London to Brighton, and looking forward to seeing many of our employees down in Brighton on the beach, welcoming us."
The London to Brighton Cycle Ride is an iconic 55-mile cycle ride starting from Clapham Common in South London, to the seaside town of Brighton. The ride is open to everyone - new to cycling, or regular riders.
