Creating a community within the workplace

"I definitely feel like I can bring my authentic self to work," says Rah.

"The Honeywell Black Employee Network has certainly helped create a community and a safe space where I can bring both my professional and personal successes and challenges to work."

Connecting with members and allies

Rah shares that Black History Month means a lot to her.

"It is a time of the year where I have the opportunity to remember and reflect on those who paved the way for myself and countless others," Rah comments.

"What I enjoy most about Black History Month and HBEN in particular is the activities we do around community outreach and the opportunity to connect on a deeper level with our members and allies through events such as fireside chats."

"I also enjoy, from an external perspective, doing events with non-profit organizations that I am a member of," adds Rah.
