Meet Kathryn Schira, one of Honeywell's Futureshaper summer interns. Kathryn is working on an analysis of the global carbon markets that will help determine the direction of future sustainability projects.
Meeting people from diverse backgrounds
Kathryn Schira is a Honeywell Business Development intern in Des Plaines, Illinois, USA, studying economics and German at the University of Michigan.
"I'm working on an in-depth analysis of the economic mechanisms of global carbon markets. The results of my analysis will help the strategic planning team determine the direction of future sustainability projects," explains Kathryn.
"During my internship, I have been meeting people with diverse backgrounds and fields of study. Seeing how Honeywell has given people the opportunity to fulfil many different types of career goals, as well as the space to build a successful career internally, has helped me understand the types of careers that are possible," says Kathryn.
