One of the many women working with this pioneering technology is Sheila Jordan, Honeywell’s Senior Vice President & Chief Digital Technology Officer. 

Sheila is such a big believer of generative artificial intelligence that she has already put it into the hands of all 95,000 employees at Honeywell.

Driving digital transformation efforts 

As a Honeywell Futureshaper, Sheila responsible for all digital transformation efforts across the company, including transformation platform construction and adoption, and delivering value across Enterprise Data activities.

In addition, Sheila has broad oversight and responsibility for IT infrastructure, end user support, the more than 100 services delivered through applications, and the expansion of software development to support Honeywell’s digital initiatives and go-to-market offerings.

Equipping employees with generative AI tools

Sheila has helped deliver AI to all of Honeywell's employees. “There is not a function in the company that is not thinking about gen AI,” says Sheila.

Sheila also describes Honeywell's data-driven approach to AI. “You can’t have a gen AI strategy unless you have a data strategy,” says Sheila.
