Alexis Rivera feels empowered by Honeywell's All Abilities Network

For Disability Employment Awareness Month, Honeywell Senior HR Manager and Futureshaper, Alexis Rivera, discusses how Honeywell's All Abilities Network empowers her to be her authentic self while building a strong, supportive community at work that celebrates diversity and encourages collaboration.

Being authentic self at work

Alexis explains that she feels like she can be her true self in the workplace and through her career with Honeywell.

"I'm a part of these networks that have taught me so much about just being yourself, being authentic, and producing amazing results in doing that," explains Alexis.

"I do feel like being connected with so many people that are like me and having similar experiences has really impacted my experience at Honeywell."

Joining a supportive community

A further colleague explains that they joined Honeywell's All Abilities Network within their first week of starting to work with the company.

"I was excited to see the organization and through it, I've made friends, I've made contacts. I've been able to increase our membership as well. Through relationships, people see that you're being your true self and you're being your authentic self," shares the Honeywell colleague. "I'm enabled by those that came before me in the organization, and I'm really looking forward to paying it forward."
