Working flexibly with WTW provides good work-life balance for colleagues and WTW Lead Associate, Lisbon Regional Delivery Hub, Retirement, Julieta Gonçalves, shares that working flexibly has helped improve the quality of her life a great deal.
"I have a small son who is five years old, and it helps me a lot, like managing my day-to-day life, picking him up, dropping him at school, generally having less stress because I'm able to work from home most of the time and avoid losing time in traffic and transportation," says Julieta. "So it's a game changer for me."
A further employee also commented on the great flexibility offered by WTW. "I can organise my day and my life the best way I can without losing the connection we get from working at the office, but at the same time, while working at home, it's easier to manage my day and to dedicate the time I need to do my work and to my life out of work. The balance was one of the things that attracted me to WTW, and that's why I like to work here."
WTW offers location-based arrangements and flexible working patterns
WTW has both location-based working arrangements and flexible working patterns on offer to its colleagues throughout their WTW careers.
For location-based arrangements, WTW has remote, in-office and hybrid working styles. The majority of WTW colleagues work in the 'hybrid' style, with a mix of remote, in-person and in-office interactions, dependent on the needs of the team, role and clients.
In terms of flexible working patterns, WTW trusts its colleagues to know their work and the people, tools and environment they need to be successful. WTW is focused on creating the best outcomes, for clients and colleagues, not where or when this is achieved. Some examples of flexible working patterns may include job sharing and part-time working.
