Focusing on collaborative work from the office

Monica explains that during lockdown, she occasionally worked from the office, whereas now she is based in one of WTW's in-office work environments. As Monica is part of the real estate and workplace solution team, working from an office location is an ideal choice for her.

"At the office, I can focus on collaborative work, make faster decisions and complete my task on time," shares Monica. "The best part of working from the office is that I can meet, connect and discuss work with my colleagues and my clients in-person."

Nurturing a positive work-life balance

Monica's work style affects her work-life balance positively, as she is able to have a clear division of her day, and her focus, when working in the WTW office. Monica says, "this allows me to always give 100 per cent to both my work and to my family."

Creating a safe environment for colleagues

Monica shares that in-office working has continued to be beneficial for her, with one key reason being that she works closely on a large project with her WTW team, and working from home would make the execution of tasks difficult.

"Our team is also responsible for creating and maintaining a safe environment for our colleagues, and this would not be possible in a remote set-up," comments Monica.

Time to enjoy passions outside of work

Monica concludes by sharing that outside of work, cooking is something that she really enjoys.

"Whenever I have the opportunity, I cook some delicious meals with different cuisines for my family and friends," explains Monica.
