Capgemini, a proud partner of the Princes Trust, is sponsoring the charity's Future Steps, a 10,000 steps-a-day challenge.

Empowering young people 

Capgemini is working with The Prince's Trust to make the Future Steps 2022 event even slicker. This is thanks to Capgemini's team of digital innovators and junior talent from across its business, who are bringing their skills in app development, with a focus on inclusiveness and user design, to ensure The Prince's Trust can be there to help young people.

What is Future Steps?

Future Steps is a 10,000 steps a day challenge. Participants can convert their walk, run or wheelchair distance into steps, and compete to reach the top of the leader board on the Future Steps app. People can take part individually, or as a team of up to six people. ​​ ​​

By getting involved this year, participants are supporting their mental and physical health and are raising funds to help the most vulnerable young people in the UK take the next step to transform their lives. 

Keeping fit and healthy  ​​

Ah, the elusive 10,000 steps! This figure is heard everywhere - people talk about it on TV and loved ones stress how it’ll keep us fit and healthy. Well, there’s a lot of truth in it - movement is indeed good for everyone. ​​

• Get moving and have fun – look after your physical and mental health by getting out and active. ​
• Build relationships – rally your team and keep each other motivated, you’re all in this together! ​
• Spark a bit of healthy competition – compete to be at the top of the Future Steps leaderboard by taking extra steps or fundraising a little bit more than your pals! ​
• Fundraise to change young lives – this year, the charity will help even more young people facing adversity. The Prince’s Trust supports young people to find the tools and confidence to live more stable, fulfilling lives, but they can't do it by themselves. ​
