A passionate climber, Caroline Leon was left unable to walk after a terrible climbing accident. But this did not deter her – and she began the arduous journey of learning to walk again. Soon, she was scaling mountains again!

She is now embarking on her second attempt at a Guinness World Record as she plans to climb seven volcanic summits across seven continents.

Taking on the world's biggest challenges

Caroline has always loved the outdoors, and a fitness lifestyle but, in 2015, Caroline suffered a devastating climbing accident. Doctors said she would never walk again. Yet, 14 surgeries and 23 blood transfusions later, Caroline began the slow journey back to full mobility. 

Now, Caroline is taking on one of the world’s biggest physical and mental challenges: climbing seven volcanic summits across seven continents in six months.
