Continuous investment of DHL's people is paramount
Tim Scharwath, Member of the Board of Management for DHL had the honor of attending the graduation ceremony of DHGL's CFM Supervisory Academy (CSA) program in Mumbai. During the regional event, DHL celebrated the success of 50 dedicated graduates.
Two years ago, DHL Global Forwarding and DHL Freight established the CFM Supervisory Academy, aimed at investing in DHL's frontline managers — the essential backbone of DHL's workforce.
"As we strive to retain top talent and build a best-in-class team, continuous investment in our people is paramount," commented Tim Scharwath, Member of the Board of Management for DHL. "Importantly, this program is not just a local initiative but is taking place globally. By the end of December, we will have witnessed the graduation of 200 individuals, each equipped with the skills and knowledge to drive our organization forward – and counting," commented Tim.
The CFM Supervisory Academy spans an 18-month curriculum, featuring 8 modules delivered through a mix of in-person, digital, and virtual learning. The content aligns with DHL's three bottom lines Employer of Choice, Provider of Choice, Investment of Choice and covers crucial management fundamentals such as First Choice, Leading Change, and managing the People Journey.
The Certified program is a foundational platform for cultivating DHL's organizational culture. The heightened engagement witnessed among participants during the graduation ceremony paints a vivid picture of DHL's empowered and involved target group.
"A heartfelt congratulations to all the graduates! Your dedication and commitment are truly commendable," congratulated Tim. "I'd like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to the colleagues who played pivotal roles in orchestrating this successful event and spearheading the program on a global scale, as well as in their respective regions and countries...your exceptional efforts in driving the program have been truly outstanding."
"Thank you all for your unwavering commitment to the success of the CFM Supervisory Academy but also our Certified program in general," said Tim. "I would like to acknowledge all the Certified teams and facilitators for their role in this large-scale, global, value-adding initiative. Thank you for your dedication and hard work in making this program a resounding success. Together, we're shaping the future of our workforce and ensuring a thriving, skilled team."
